Tiger football overcomes slow start to defeat Plainview-Elgin-Millville 34-14 in quarterfinal

Lake City recovered from a slow start, dominating the final three quarters as the Tigers advanced in the playoffs with a 34-14 victory over Plainview-Elgin-Millville in the section 1AA quarterfinals last Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs opened the game by recovering an onside kick and marched to the Tigers one-yard line before Colter Hegge came up with a huge tackle for loss on fourth down to keep the game scoreless.
