Tiger girls bring home second win of young season against Z-M
The Lake City Tiger girls’ basketball team traveled to Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Nov. 26 to take on the Cougars and came home winners 63-51. The Cougars won the tip off and made a quick pass to Ali Hunstad. Hunstad wasted no time hitting a three point shot.
The Tigers responded with a 3-point shot from Lilly Meincke, giving them a small lead over the Cougars.
Zumbrota-Mazeppa came back to tie the game up. Both teams were hot and making shots. The score remained within one point with both teams hitting baskets.
