Tiger girls golfers place second in Lakeville, first at Jewel
The Lake City High School girls golf team (LC) competed in two events this past week. The squad traveled to the Lakeville North Invite held at Brackett’s Crossing Club on April 29.
Northfield captured the team title with a 346 followed by LC 353, Byron 357, Eastview 360, Owatonna 367, Rosemount 371, Lakeville North 375, and Burnsville 465.
The Tigers were led by medalist Ella Matzke’s stellar round of 75, Mattie Mears 86, Alayna Atkinson 92, and Jordyn Dicke 100. Other scores included Taylor Davidson 104 and Julia Huettl 108.
