Tiger girls notch another road win

After two straight losses at home, the Lake City High School girls basketball team found victory on the road Dec. 15 with a 49-40 victory over Cannon Falls.

It was a “very productive game” for the Tigers, coach Drew Olinger said, with good ball movement opening up shots for the offense.

“Allison Kubista did a fantastic job coming off screens hard and also making good initial cuts within our offense.

“In addition, we were able to get the ball to Madi Green in the post, and she was able to make some very productive and strong post moves.
