Tiger girls place sixth at state golf meet

The Lake City High School Girls Golf team competed in the MSHSL Girls Golf AA State Championship on June 10-11 at the Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan.
The Tigers found themselves tied for 4th place after Day 1’s competition after firing a 349. Defending state champion, Detroit Lakes, took an eight stroke lead with an impressive 320 followed by Minnewaska 328, Hill-Murray 347, LC 349, Totino-Grace 349, Holy Family 353, Pequot Lakes 356, and Rock Ridge 380.
