Tiger girls play Cougars close before opening up big lead

After having six days off with no games the Lake City Tigers were back on the court Feb. 26 hosting Zumbrota-Mazeppa (ZM). Lake City won 82-47.

On the Cougars’ first possession Macey Beltz’s deflection caused a turnover, giving the ball back to the Tigers and setting up a Natalie Bremer three-pointer.

The Tigers led 5-0 and then 9-2 before the Cougars called timeout.

Out of the time out Grace Bany scored off a steal to give the Tigers an 11-2 lead with 14:52 to go in first half.
