Tiger girls record another comeback victory

The Lake City High School girls basketball team lost one, then won one heading into the holiday break.

The Tigers took a tough 40-50 loss against Pine Island on Tuesday, Dec. 20.

After trailing 11-25 at the half, the Tigers tried to rally back in the second half but fell short of a second straight comeback victory.

Daynalyn Jostock had 12 points, 13 rebounds. Laura Heitman and Julia Anderson each scored 12 points.

Pine Island’s top scorers were Eliza Warneke with 20 points and Brooke Sinning with 11 points.
