Tiger girls relay teams stand out at HVL championship meet
The Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) Conference Track and Field Championship was held Saturday, May 10, with Byron High School playing host to a strong field of teams.
Byron dominated the girls’ competition, securing the team title with a commanding 242 points. Pine Island followed in second with 203, and Stewartville finished third at 163. Lake City placed fourth with 82 points, Cannon Falls was fifth (75.5) and was followed by Kasson-Mantorville (69), Rochester Lourdes (51), and Zumbrota Mazeppa (21).
