Tiger girls suffer first loss to Rochester Lourdes
The Lake City Tigers girls basketball team traveled to Rochester Lourdes on Tuesday, Dec. 18 and suffered their first loss of the season 81-71.
Grace Bany won the tip off for the tigers and a pass to Mya Shones resulted in a quick two points. Lourdes responded with a three-point basket.
The score was tight going back and fourth early in the game. With 9:35 left in the first half Lourdes hit a couple of three-pointe baskets and held an eight point lead. Lilly Meincke came down the court and hit a triple to cut the lead to five.
