Tiger girls upset Goodhue to move to Section 1AA finals
After the wild game against Dover-Eyota on Monday the Tiger girls basketball team moved on to the Section 1AA semifinal game against top-seeded Goodhue.
The Tigers won the tip-off and with just a few seconds off the clock Goodhue’s Gadient picked up her first foul of the night. But on the inbound pass Goodhue got a steal and scored to get on the board first.
Mya Shones tied it up when she hit a short jump shot for 2.
The Wildcats got a couple of quick baskets on the Tigers and took a 2-8 lead.
