Tiger girls win 10th consecutive conference golf championship
The Lake City girls golf team (LC) captured their 10th straight Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) Championship by sweeping the two regular season HVL events along with the HVL Championship event held on May 20 at Northern Hills Golf Course.
As inclement weather reduced play to 9 holes, the Tiger squad fired a 165 followed by Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa (PIZM) 180, Byron 180, Lourdes 196, Stewartville 204, Cannon Falls 221, and Kasson-Mantorville 226.
