Tiger gridders win section quarterfinal

For the second time in three seasons, Lake City saved its best game of the year for the playoffs as the underdog Tigers throttled Minneapolis Roosevelt 49-20 in the Section 4AAA quarterfinals last Tuesday night in south Minneapolis. Lake City, which led 35-7 at halftime, forced seven turnovers and blocked a punt en route to a lopsided victory.
