Tiger harriers clean sweep HVL titles
A clean sweep, that’s what the Lake City Tiger cross country teams accomplished last Tuesday. The cross country teams accomplished something that hasn’t been done since 1999, before any of them were born. All four teams: boys’ varsity, boys’ junior varsity (JV), girls’ JV, and the girls’ varsity came away from the Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) meet at Pine Island victorious. Along with that was the girls’ 5,000 meter record being lowered by Jacey Majerus. Six boys and five girls ran all-conference performances.
