Tiger Harriers run at Irish Invite
The Lake City High School cross country teams started the season with a trip to Rosemount to compete in the Irish Invite.
The draw for the Tigers to this meet was the 3200 meter length, and it’s a morning meet to beat the late summer heat. Thirty teams compete here, and all of them were AAA, or AA except LC. Why compete here then? There are so many runners in each race that there is always somebody to compete with no matter your speed. It’s a great place to have your first race at.
