Tiger tennis goes 1-2 during busy week
Last week was busy for the Lake City High School boys tennis team with three matches scheduled.
The Tigers kicked the week off by traveling to Winona to take on the Cotter Ramblers Tuesday evening. In an expectedly difficult match-up the Tigers were defeated 0-7 with players unable to push the Rambler netters beyond 2 set matches.
Thursday provided the Tigers with another strong opponent when they hosted Red Wing. Maddox Shones earned a point for the Tigers in their 1-6 loss when he beat Luke Farrar 6-2, 7-6 (5).
