Tiger tennis season ends at section individual tournament
The Lake City High School boys tennis team competed in the individual portion of the section tournament on Thursday, May 28.
Six Tigers earned a spot creating two doubles teams and two singles participants. The tournament format had 14 total singles players and doubles teams.
To start the tournament Elliott Lukes played some of his best tennis of the year. He stayed focused and was never rattled during the match. Unfortunately, Isaac Wiennman of Stewartville got the best of him, defeating Lukes 6-1 6-1.
