Tiger V-ball team bows to St. Charles

The Lake City High School girls volleyball team struggled against a powerful St. Charles squad Sept. 2.
“Lake City lost three games (25-9, 25-12, 25-10) last Thursday night in a steamy, hot St. Charles gym.  The Tigers were coming off a tough five-game win over Dover-Eyota the night before and didn’t have much left in the tank,” commented Coach Kirk Thornton.
The Tigers started all three games strong but faltered midway through.  They move to 1-2 overall.
The Saints remain undefeated.
