Tiger varsity bowlers win two to end regular season
Last weekend, the Lake City Tiger bowling team traveled to Pine Island for the last regular season matches of the season.
The varsity opened up against Zumbrota-Mazeppa, winning the match 3-2. Sam Smith led the team with 92 percent fill percentage. In the second match they bowled Preston winning that match 3-2 also. Lake City was led by Sam Smith at 92 percent, followed by Dane Houghton and Conner Ferguson at 80 percent and 75 percent.
The varsity team finished the season 11-3 and earned the No. 2 seed for this weekend’s championship roll-off.
