Tiger volleyball team wins 2 matches
The Lake City High School girls volleyball team welcomed Lewiston-Altura to town Sept. 6 and came away with a 3-0 win.
The Tigers were in control of the Cardinals throughout the match with scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-19.
Daynalyn Jostock led the Tigers with 12 kills and seven aces. Laura Heitman had six kills and Abbey Ziebell contributed 22 set assists.
On Sept. 1 the Tigers traveled to Red Wing for a non-conference match. Lake City won the battle 3-1 after four games, 22-25, 25-20, 25-17, 26-24.
