Tiger wrestlers face ranked Z-M team
The final score was a little lopsided but there were some positive things in the Lake City wrestling team’s 57-10 loss to top-ranked Zumbrota-Mazeppa last Thursday.
“I was pretty satisfied with the results,” said Tiger Coach Doug Vaith. “I figured we could be competitive in a couple matches, but there were five or six matches that could have gone either way.”
Lake City got wins from Nash Nelson at 113, Tanner Frank at 132 and Ivan Vargas pulled out an overtime victory at 285.
