Tigers advance three runners to state tournament
The Tiger cross country team extended their season by advancing three runners to the 2017 State Cross Country Championships Saturday at St. Olaf College.
The Tiger harriers’ teams placed third in the girls’ race at the Section 1A Championships behind No. 6 ranked Winona Cotter and No. 2 ranked Stewartville.
The individual champ was Cotter’s Grace Ping.
The boys placed fourth in the 25-team meet with La Crescent and Rochester Area Association of Christian Home Educators (RAACHE) advancing.
The individual champ was Matt Steiger of La Crescent.
