Tigers baseball wins over PEM in pitcher’s duel

The Lake City Tigers baseball team opened play Monday, July 13 with a victory at Plainview.
Due to COVID-19, the Legion baseball season was cancelled, but local teams worked together to schedule games. The Tigers are scheduled to play a three week schedule.
Both teams were strong on the mound last Monday, but Lake City varsity defeated Plainview-Elgin-Millville (PEM) 3-2. The Tigers pitchers allowed just six hits.
