Tigers edged by Stewartville
The Lake City Tigers fell to Stewartville 4-3 on Tuesday, April 9 on the final play of the game. The game was tied up at three with Stewartville batting in the bottom of the seventh when Matt Muller singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Lake City got on board in the first inning. Justin Wohlers hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the fourth inning, Stewartville tied things up at three. Andrew Simmons hit a solo homer.
