Tigers fall to Lourdes in HVL title game
The game of the season was a rematch between Lake City and Rochester Lourdes for the Hiawatha Valley League (HVL) title Feb. 15. The Tigers came into the game as winners of the Blue Division and Rochester Lourdes won the Gold Division.
The Lourdes Eagles dominated the game and defeated Lake City 65-45.
The Tigers won the tip off but were unable to score on their first possession. Lourdes grabbed the rebound and drove down the court for an easy basket.
