Tigers furious late rally comes up short in HVL title game

A furious rally wasn’t enough as Lake City’s hopes of back-to-back perfect seasons in conference play were extinguished by Stewartville Saturday night in the 2020 Hiawatha Valley Championship Game. Will Tschetter scored 44 points and had 15 rebounds to propel Stewartville to a 77-71 victory for the schools second overall conference championship.
