Tigers split two matches in volleyball
The Lake City Tigers volleyball team split two matches last week with Pine Island and Stewartville.
On Sept. 29 they traveled to Pine Island to take on the Panthers. Lake City won the hard fought battle 3-2 (25-15, 20-25, 20-25, 26-24, 15-11).
Abby Ziebell led Lake City with 35 set assists and two ace serves. Daynalyn Jostock had nine kills, three blocks and two ace serves. Laura Heitman had 16 kills and one ace serve. Madi Green had 10 kills and four blocks. Julia Anderson had 17 digs.
