Tigers team Orange opens the season with a sweep

The Lake City Tigers girls bowling team opened up the season with a doubleheader at Colonial Lanes in Rochester last weekend. Lake City Orange beat Winona, Pine Island, bye team and Rochester Mayo to start the season 4-0, losing only two games for the day. The team of Resa Laqua, Janette Bauer, Hally Burkholder, Nora Baer and Sam Smith had a team combined fill percentage of 75 percent and averaged 171 for the day. Their high game for the day was 215.
