Top-ranked girls golf continues winning

The state’s top ranked Class AA team, the Lake City High School girls golf squad, competed in the Somerby Invite held at Somerby Golf Club on May 9.
The Tigers won the event by twenty-one strokes over Shakopee 366-387, followed by Fairmont 388, Mayo 403, Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa (PIZM) 419, Century 421, Red Wing 421, John Marshall 432, Byron 437, Stewartville 443, Cannon Falls (CF) 478, and Kasson-Mantorville (K-M) 518.
