Top-ranked girls golfers win three more meets
The Lake City High School girls golf team capped off a busy week with three more first place finishes.
On May 10, Lake City fired a 342 to defeat Cannon Falls 445 in a dual event held at Cannon Golf Club.
The Tigers were led by medalist Jordana Windhorst Knudsen’s 78, Emma Berge 81(career low), Molly Kennedy 91, and Ella Matzke 92. Other scores were Mattie Mears 103 and Brooke Bee 107. Alternate players included Kaitlin Schmidt 92 (career low) and Morgan Wurst 105.
