Lake City High School boys soccer ended their historic season last week with a tough loss against St. Charles. The Lake City boys soccer team was seeded fifth in the conference and faced fourth-seeded St. Charles. Cris Ramirez scored a goal in the first half with an assist from Benny Lopez. St. Charles tied the game in the second half, and managed to come out on top, scoring an overtime goal to win the game 2-1.
While the players, coaches, and fans certainly hoped for a different outcome, the season was momentous for numerous reasons.
