Tough week for Legion baseball
It was a tough week for the Lake City Legion Baseball team with losses in all three games played.
On Monday they lost to Chatfield 9-4. Offensively Justin Wohlers led the way with a 2 RBI triple, and also had a walk. Johan Zorn had 1 hit, a run scored, and a RBI. Jon Harvey had a hit, and a run scored. Jaxson Kohrs had a walk, and 2 stolen bases. Owen Meyers started the game on the mound, and went 3 and 1/3 innings, giving up 7 runs with a strikeout. Dylan Rumley went the final 3 – 2/3 innings giving up 2 unearned runs with 2 strikeouts.
