Two compete at Junior PGA event

Two Lake City girls golfers, Kaitlin Schmidt and Mattie Mears, competed in a Minnesota PGA Junior Tour event held July 22nd at Mississippi National Golf Links.
Schmidt fired an 88 to finish fourth in the age 16-18 division.
Mears shot 101 to place eighth in the age 13-15 division.
Twenty-two girls competed in the event.
