Two three-game matches for Tiger volleyball
The Lake City High School volleyball team beat Lewiston-Altura (L-A) 3-0 and lost to Stewartville 0-3 last week.
On Sept. 6 against L-A, the Tigers won the first game 27-25, the second 25-17, and the third 25-22.
For Lake City, Mahli Benjamin had 8 kills, 8 digs, and 2 aces, Paige West had 8 digs, and 3 aces, Emma Narum had 10 assists, and 8 digs, Natalie LaBonte had 13 kills, Kaitlin Schmidt had 17 digs, and 1 ace, Brooklyn Gulden had 8 kills, Ella Matzke had 20 assists, and 2 aces.
