Varsity bowlers compete at state tournament
The Lake City Tigers bowling team traveled to Alexandria to bowl in the Class A state tournament this past weekend.
The first part of the tournament was a 10-game qualifier, with the top 16 teams moving into round two. Eight teams would be done for the day after round one.
Lake City started off slow averaging 154 after four games. The next four games saw the Tigers find their groove, with all games over 200. Lake City finished the first round as the 13th seed.
