Varsity bowlers kick off the season undefeated

On Saturday, Sept. 17, the Lake City High School bowling teams had their first matches in Winona.
This year Lake City has enough participants to field one varsity team and three junior varsity (JV) teams.
The varsity team started the day bowling against Zumbrota-Mazeppa. They came out strong and won all five games.
Leading them was Josh Gnotke with a perfect 100 percent fill percentage, not far behind him was Sam Smith with 90 percent.
