Varsity bowlers win against Pepin-Alma, Lewiston-Altura

On Saturday, Sept. 14 the Lake City Tiger coed bowling team traveled down river to Westgate Bowl in Winona for their second week of competition.

Varsity started out the day taking on Pepin-Alma. The start was a little slow where they squeaked out a first game win 123 to 122. The Tigers were able to step up their game and record scores of 171, 159, 217, and 192 to take the match winning all five games. They had an average of 172.4. Evan Corey had a fill percentage of 71.4%, followed by Isaac Laqua and Leighton Mueske with 70%.
