Volleyball season concludes with section semifinal loss to Caledonia

The Lake City High School volleyball team faced the No. 1 seed Caledonia Warriors in the opening round of the Section 1AA tournament on Thursday, Oct. 23.
The Tigers put forth a determined effort but were defeated in three sets by scores of 25-8, 25-21, and 25-20.
Senior hitter Alli Helmin led Lake City with 7 kills and 2 ace blocks. Alayna Atkinson contributed 4 kills, 8 digs, and 1 ace serve.
