Volleyball team wins over Pine Island
The Lake City High School girls volleyball team won over Pine Island at home Sept. 27 3-0.
The Tigers jumped out to a huge first game lead and finished 25-7. In game two Lake City finished 25-19 and then capped off the match 25-17 in the third.
Abby Ziebell had 37 set assists for the Tigers. Teammate Daynalyn Jostock finished the night with 30 kills. Julia Anderson added 30 digs.
The Tigers travel to Kenyon-Wanamingo Thursday. On Saturday they will play in the Cannon Falls Invitational. Hayfield comes to town next Tuesday.
