Volleyball Tigers bow to Zumbrota-Mazeppa
The Lake City High School girls volleyball team lost a hard-fought battle with Zumbrota-Mazeppa on Tuesday 3-2.
The Tigers were in control early with wins of 25-23, 25-21. Then the Cougars came back to take the next three 20-25, 22-25 and 13-15.
Daynalyn Jostock led the Tigers with 20 kills. Abbey Ziebell contributed 37 set assists and Julia Anderson added 15 digs.
On Thursday the Tigers host Cannon Falls. Saturday they have an invitational at Wabasha-Kellogg High School and then they welcome Byron to town for a match next Tuesday.
