Volleyball Tigers defeat La Crescent in round 1
Lake City already had the top seed for playoffs, so beating La Crescent in three on Oct. 25 was just icing on the cake.
The Lancers initially put up a real good fight in game one getting the first point off an ace serve.
La Crescent was ahead 3-4 when the Tigers finally came alive and went ahead 11-4 before the Lancers got the ball back.
A few volleys later and the score was Lake City 16, La Crescent 12. That’s the closest the Lancers would come before the game ended 25-15.
