Volleyball: Tigers lose close match to PEM at home

The Lake City High School varsity volleyball team battled to a decisive fifth game against Plainview-Elgin-Millville at home on Oct. 16 but came up short in the end.
Lake City won the first game 25-20, PEM won the second game 25-12, Lake City won game 3 25-23, PEM won game 4 25-22, and PEM won game 5 16-14.
Natalie LaBonte led Lake City in kills with 17. Ella Matzke had 36 sets to lead Lake City.
