Volleyball tournament draws 21 teams to Lake City sand
Registration in the annual Lake City Junior Olympics volleyball tournament spiked this year.
“21 teams in two age divisions,” said Kelsey Hameister, a Lake City Junior Olympic Volleyball board member and the tournament coordinator. “They didn’t just play; they performed. They brought the heat, the hustle, and the heart. Their sportsmanship and enthusiasm lit up the courts and made this tournament one for the books.”
In the 12/14U Division, Net Ninjas placed first, Beach Bums placed second, and Chatfield placed third.
