Wallerich competes in Warrior Cup Aug. 15
Lake City golfer Ava Wallerich competed in the Minnesota PGA Junior Tour’s finale, The Warrior Cup, age 13-15 division on Aug. 15 at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker.
In a field of 33 of the top 13-15 year old players in the state, Ava tied for first place with a three over par 75 with Isabella McCauley of Inver Grove Heights and Molly Stevens of Northfield. McCauley prevailed in the playoff by making a birdie on the first playoff hole while Stevens and Wallerich settled for pars.
