Women’s Volleyball Tourney brings season to close
The Women’s Volleyball Tourney was held Saturday, Aug. 11. Finishing in first place was the team sponsored by Schultz Crete Services, front row, from left: Heidi Cox, Chrissy Flotterud and Jen Mears; back row, from left: Katie Siverly, Jessica Schultz and Amy Wendt. The ladies expressed their appreciation to the Lake City Fire Department for watering down the sand courts and to the team sponsors. Seven of the 11 teams who played this summer were able to participate in the tournament. New teams are always welcome.
