Wrestlers 3rd in Edina meet
After a predictably one sided loss to nationally ranked Kasson-Mantorville (K-M) in last Thursday’s season opener, the Lake City wrestling team recovered nicely in Saturday’s Edina Invitational, finishing third in the eight team field and producing two individual champions.
Junior Tanner Frank pinned two opponents to win the championship at 120 pounds on Saturday, and senior Carl Kozlowski won four matches to claim the title in a round robin bracket at 145 pounds. Three of Kozlowski’s wins were pins.
