Wrestlers drop 2 home meets

The Lake City wrestling team dropped two home duals last week, losing to Byron 62-12 Thursday, and 48-18 Friday to Dover-Eyota, who is ranked ninth in the latest Class A ratings.
Senior Jeremy Keller (126) got a pin against Byron, while Tanner Frank (113) and Carl Kozlowski (152) each got close decisions to account for the Tigers’ scoring against Byron.
“I thought we had chances in six or seven matches, but we got a little sloppy and tired,” said Coach Doug Vaith. “They were in a little better shape than we were.”
