Mya Shones has become the first Lake City Tiger girls basketball player to have 1,000 career rebounds. The senior reached the milestone against Winona Cotter in the final game of the regular season on Feb. 18.

Mya Shones commits to UW-Eau Claire

Lincoln High School senior Mya Shones has verbally committed to University of Wisconsin Eau Claire to play basketball. She has a career total of 1,495 points, 924 rebounds, and 164 blocks during her high school varsity career. She is the daughter of Mark and Jessica Shones.

Mya Shones has become just the eighth Tiger girls basketball player to score 1,000 career points.
