Bluffs Corn Fest raises $1,000
The Bluffs of Lake City held their first annual Corn Fest Fundraiser Aug. 23 for the Alzheimer’s Association complete with sweet corn (provided by John Dose), hot dogs, potato salad, watermelon, dessert and beverages.
Musical entertainment was provided by Jim Sexton throughout the event. Gift cards were given away as prizes to Port 104, the Chickadee Cottage, The Railhouse Grill and Huettl’s as well as a two-night stay in The Bluffs’ guest suite with complimentary meal vouchers.
