Five for Food has 38 sponsors so far to match individual contributions

“Five for Food,” Greater Lake City Community Foundation’s annual fundraising initiative for the Lake City Food Shelf, is off and running for 2026.
Program coordinator Bruce Carlstrom reports that 39 sponsors so far have pledged $500 or more to match contributions received from the community from now until March 31. The total sponsorship dollars so far are $30,050. A few past sponsors have yet to respond. The total fundraising goal for 2026 is $55,000.
