Green Parkway a little greener after Arbor Day

Cold and cloudy weather led organizers to scale back the number of trees to be planted at the City of Lake City’s Arbor Day event on Saturday, May 17.
Instead of 59 trees along Green Parkway, they planted eight. Everyone was invited to help plant trees, gain tree planting skills, and even take a seedling home with them to plant in their yard.
